This is our third vintage of this wonderful Malbec from Argentina, and each one seems better than before. And that says a lot, because on the bulletin board at erobertparker.com, Robert Parker described the 2008 vintage as, "SUPER VALUE -- 2008 Lexicon Malbec-Mendoza, Argentina - $12-13 ... 100% malbec, terrific plum, blackberry, forest floor aromas, dense ruby purple color, medium-bodied, silky tannins, and the finish and flavor intensity of a wine 2-3 X the price .... drink it over the next 1-2 years...amazing value... 90% aged in tank,10% aged in oak for three months...malbec fruit bomb ..."
This is a serious Malbec for the money. Deep color, full-bodied, and loaded with blackberry fruit, it drinks like something considerably more expensive than it is. Dpn't miss it!
