Malbec That Drinks More Like A $20 Wine!
Taking a look at the fact sheet for the 2008 Manos Negras Malbec you would think the wine would be more like $25 per bottle or even higher. 100% Malbec, 50 year olds vines, 4000 ft elevation, 100% sustainable farming, hand harvested, double manual selection, and 12 months in French Oak. The result is a miniscule 2000 cases production of a $12.99 Malbec that is really good!
The back label of the 2008 Manos Negras Malbec says everything about the wine. "Real winemakers get their hands dirty. Hands black with wine. That's what Manos Negras is all about. Rolling up our sleeves and getting our hands dirty. That's how we make these hand-crafted wines."
The 2008 Manos Negras Malbec is a true bargain at $12.99 and you would be hard pressed to find another wine selling for such a price that receives the same kind of meticulous care as this gem does.

Great color to this Malbec with a deep purple hue. Full-bodied , plenty of concentration on the palate, with blackberries, cherry liquer, little tobacco, stony minerality, and a long structured finish. This is one serious Malbec for just $12.99! |
