Jay Miller Wine Advocate 90 Points
The 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon which was aged for 12 months in 80% French oak of which 30% was new, and 20% new American oak. Deep garnet in color, it delivers notes of wood smoke, pencil lead, cassis, black currants, and blackberry. This leads to a medium to full-bodied, elegantly styled Cabernet with nicely layered black fruits and hints of eucalyptus as well as espresso in the background. The tannins are well-integrated and should permit several years of development in the bottle. However, it can be enjoyed now and over the next 10-12 years.
