The 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon "Gigglepot" is composed of 92% McLaren Vale fruit and 8% Langhorne Creek fruit. Opaque purple-colored, the wine coats the glass with glycerin. It offers alluring aromas of smoke, toast, pencil lead, black currants, and blackberry. On the palate this sleek, lustrous wine is more structured than the Maitre D'. It has deeper and more intense fruit and the finish is lengthy and pure. Give it 3-4 years of additional bottle age and drink it through 2027.
