Explosive QPR Barossa Shiraz
Many of you out there are looking for the 2008 Schild Shiraz Barossa which recently was awarded the # 7 ranking in the Wine Spectator Top 100. Unfortunately, it’s not currently in stock anywhere yet. We expect to see some later next month but not sure exactly when.
In the meantime you can check out the 2007 vintage which ended up # 43 in the Wine Spectator’s Top 100 of 2009 with a 92 point score. For just 15.98 per bottle with $1/bottle shipping on a case!
The extra year in the bottle has really helped. Silky and smooth Shiraz with blackberry, raspberry, and some licorice.
Reviews
Wine Spectator 92 Points
Polished and generous, offering a racy mouthful of tobacco-accented cherry and black currant fruit that finishes with an edge of dried sage, licorice and fresh cream. This lingers impressively, showing amazing depth. Drink now through 2017. 8,200 cases made.–HS
