Salena Estate is an ongoing project for Gary and his team in an effort to give our guests what they are looking for, high quality wines for a reasonable price. Gary handpicked this estates wines after meeting with over 20 importers. He chose Salena Estate for the quality of the fruit plus the overall attention to detail this winery has.
The 2004 Shiraz exhibits a bouquet of smoke, leather, blueberry, and blackberry. This leads to a medium to full-bodied wine with a smooth texture, ample dark fruits and plenty of spice. There is excellent balance to this wine and a pleasant finish. This Shiraz would pair well with most meat dishes especially a Bacon Bleu Cheeseburger.
