Nice QPR Shiraz From Barossa
Our top selling Australian Shiraz in the $10-16 range is far and away the 2008 Fetish Shiraz “The Watcher”.
Fetish Shiraz is made by the much heralded Australian winemaker, Rolf Binder. Rolf is known for producing numerous 90+ point rated Shiraz, including many approaching 98 points!
Fetish Shiraz “The Watcher” is sourced from the Barossa Valley, the classic source in Australia for ripe Shiraz fruit. The 2008 displays the typical aromatic character of Barossa Shiraz with loads of plummy fruit on the nose. The well-rounded fruit is displayed on the palate with ripe blackberries, dark plums, and a touch of cranberries as well. With a vibrant finish “The Watcher” would be great with any kind of grilled meats.

Wine Spectator 91 Points
Fresh and vibrant, this is medium-weight and juicily focused to show its blackberry, black plum and white pepper flavors, lingering with hints of white chocolate on the harmonious finish. Drink now through 2018. Tasted twice, with consistent notes. 8,000 cases made. –HS
