The 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon is nicely layered with silky, expressive red fruit, sweet herbs and licorice. The 2008 comes across as quite understated and refined. Unlike many 2008s, it will drink well right out of the gate. It is a classy, subtle Cabernet Sauvignon long on personality. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2018.

This is a top-notch set of wines from Wolf Family Vineyards and winemaker Karen Culler. All of the wines are made from estate-grown fruit.
