Winemaker's Notes:
The grapes for this Pinot Noir were grown in Sonoma County’s Russian River Valley viticultural appellation. The Russian River empties into the Pacific Ocean and serves as a channel for the cool ocean fog to move inland from the coast. Kenwood produces its Russian River blend from vineyards located off River Road where the rocky soil and the ocean’s cooling influence create the ideal conditions for growing Pinot Noir grapes. Flavorful aromas of fresh raspberries and cherries followed by subtle notes of vanilla and cola; excellent acid balance with smooth tannins and a lingering finish.
