Luli Chardonnay is the result of a decade of friendship and hard work in the wine business. Sara Floyd, Master Sommelier, and the Pisoni Family, known for their meticulous vineyard and winery practices, have at last teamed up to produce a wine that represents their combined experience and expertise.
Luli Chardonnay captures the expression of the Santa Lucia Highlands: Very vibrant aromatics, pure fruit and mineral flavors with a long, elegant finish. Grapes for this wine are sourced from multiple vineyards in the Santa Lucia Highlands. Working with different vineyard sites gives added complexity to the wines. In the winery, fermentation and aging take place in a combination of stainless steel and neutral barrels to add various flavors to the wine. The stainless steel vessels keep the aromatics bright and expressive, while the neutral barrels provide a more rounded texture without overbearing oak flavor.
