Winemaker's Notes:
Hourglass Cabernet is rich and deeply concentrated, yet natural acidity provides delineated structure and bright flavors. Aromatics of black licorice, mint and earth mingle with toasty espresso bean. The mid palate is broad yet structured, and the density of black fruit (cassis and blackberry) drives the flavor profile. Mint and licorice carry through the flavor profile adding layers of nuance. The tannins are ripe and polished leading to a soft mouth feel and lingering finish.
