14249b.jpg 		Eighteen eighty three was a good year for the Wente family.  It was the year in which C.H. Wente founded his northern California winery, beginning what would become more than a century-long family foray into winemaking.  Wente is still a family-run winery, and to pay homage, they produced this special bottling called “1883” to honor their founder. "1883" Cabernet Sauvignon has aromas and flavors of black cherry, chocolate and hints of brown sugar and spice. With balanced acidity and round mouthfeel, this wine delivers a smooth, long-lasting finish.

L = Local: You can order the item online and you can also pick it up at one of our local stores.

S = Ships Everywhere: Non-alcoholic and non-perishable items such as Salsas, Olive Oils, Wine Accessories and Gift Cards can be shipped to any state in the US.

F = Free Shipping: Items marked F3, F6 or F12 means you need to purchase at least that amount in order to qualify for Free Shipping. (ie. F6 means you need to buy at least 6 bottles in order for a Free Shipping discount to appear.)
