In 2008, the Wine Spectator named Novy Family Wines as an “Outstanding Value Producer”, mainly for it Syrahs. What many do not know is that they also make a great little Chardonnay from Rosella’s Vineyard in the Santa Lucia Highlands.
We first sold the 2009 vintage of the Novy "Rosella's Vineyard" Chardonnay because we liked the unoaked style of their Chardonnay. Beautifully balanced, yet rich in fruit flavors, but crisp on the finish.
The 2010 Novy "Rosella's Vineyard" Chardonnay arrived recently into our stores and it’s another outstanding release from Novy. The 2010 displays a lot of white peaches, nectarines, and lemon with good acidity and freshness.
Antonio Galloni of the Wine Advocate awarded the 2010 Novy "Rosella's Vineyard" Chardonnay a 90-92 point rating. We are offering it today at 21.99 on sale with Free Shipping on six or more, and as a bonus we’re offering a $24 coupon off per Case! Be sure to enter the coupon code – 24OFFNOVY during checkout. Reviews Antonio Galloni Wine Advocate 90-92 Points
The 2010 Chardonnay Rosella’s (from tank) is a focused, tightly-wound wine with plenty of freshness and minerality to support the fruit. The Rosella’s shows plenty of the characteristics of 2010, namely a cold summer and very late harvest. Anticipated maturity: 2011-2015. |
