Robert Parker 90 Points
The sleeper 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon offers impressive notes of creme de cassis, camphor, cedar, and subtle roasted herbs. Deep, full-bodied, and rich with velvety tannin and an opulent personality, this beautiful 2006 can be drunk now or cellared for 12-15 years. Moreover, it’s a relative bargain in the luxury priced Napa sweepstakes. Some big time sleepers of the vintage are included in Oakville Ranch Vineyards’ portfolio. The winery deserves serious attention from consumers.
