We normally like to change things up for our Go Figure project with different winemakers and sources for each of our unique Lots. However, with the 2009 Go Figure Lot 13 Cabernet Sauvignon we’ve gone back to our favorite source from Stags Leap for our fourth bottling because the quality was yet again outstanding. Our customers have been clamoring for more ever since we sold out of the 300 cases of Lot 11 in just two months last year.

The 2009 Go Figure Lot 13 Cabernet Sauvignon hails from one of the best-known wineries on the Silverado Trail. It is sourced mainly from Cabernet vines in Stags Leap and would retail for $30-35 per bottle if it went through normal channels. The winery that produced Lot 13 originally intended to sell most of this fruit to a winery famous for their Alexander and Napa Valley Cabernets, but we persuaded them to make it into Lot 13 for us, instead. A win for us, and for you!

We loved the Go Figure Lot 13 so much that we bought three times as much this year but that’s no guarantee it’ll be available for long!

The price is just $19.99 per bottle with FREE SHIPPING on six bottles or more! If you don’t believe us about the source for Go Figure Lot 13, then just buy some and check out the back label of the wine to see who bottled it.

Jon Visser, Wine Buyer 4 Stars

"Cigar box and mocha on the nose. On the palate it’s very structured right now with a solid core of red berries and black currant fruit with great complexity. Lots of evergreen spice, mocha, and eucalyptus last through the long finish. There’s a lot going more going on with this than you normally would see in a $20 Napa Cab. Which is no surprise given the source of fruit. This will get better and better over the next couple of years."
