The Flowers Story

Twenty years ago, Walt and Joan Flowers left their nursery business in Bucks County, Pennsylvania behind in favor of the land they purchased in the Sonoma Coast. Pinot Noir and Chardonnay are ideally suited to this cool maritime climate, and their estate vineyards have now grown to some 80 acres. They supplement this fruit with other Sonoma Coast vineyards grown to their exacting specifications. 

Flowers is now firmly established as one of California's leading producers of high quality Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Their Sonoma Coast Chardonnay is a classic example of how the cool hillsides bring the perfect balance of fruit and acidity, producing a wine of great flavor and refreshing crispness.

Winemaker's Notes:

Showing balanced depth and complexity, light straw to golden color. White peach and lime citrus aromas. A
clean wine with lean acidity refreshes the palate. Stone minerals and luscious melon equally contend for
attention in this mouth filling, delicious wine. Showing very well now and will continue to gain complexity for
1 - 3 years.
