The finest recent Chardonnay has to be the 2006 Chardonnay Bacigalupi Vineyard. This wine exhibits a terrific lemon blossom, white peach, and citrus oil nose, with a subtle influence of oak, medium to full body, a nice, leesy complexity, good acidity, and terrific length. It is best drunk in its first 2-4 years of life.
