Winemaker's Notes:
There is wonderful balance in the 2008 as well as appealing tannins. The wine offers an enticing nose of black cherry and cassis with hints of eucalyptus and cocoa. In the glass, the 2008 delivers everything that wine lovers of Alexander Valley fruit have come to expect, exhibiting rich flavors of cherry, chocolate and plum. There is great balance and good acidity and that classic elegant tannin.
