In our Pinot Noir we are above all looking for those lots that show a balance of tannin and acid, fruit flavors that while rich, dark-red and complex, are not overblown or leaning toward the burnt jam style of Pinot you sometimes see. Our Carneros bottling delivers distinctive Pinot Noir character in a wine of power, grace and elegance.
Robert Parker 88 Points
This well-known, long-established Pinot Noir producer has turned out four attractive Pinot Noirs. The 2012 Pinot Noir exhibits a light ruby color as well as lovely notes of strawberries, black cherries and spring flowers, medium-bodied, silky tannins, and enough acidity to provide freshness and vibrancy. Drink it over the next 4-6 years.

Bright medium red. Perfumed aromas of raspberry, red cherry, brown spices, flowers and underbrush. Savory and pliant, offering a nice blend of red fruits, spices and forest floor flavors. An easygoing pinot without quite the tangy lift of the 2011 release.–ST
