Neal Martin's Wine Journal 90 Points
Tasted at the Crus Bourgeois 2010 tasting in London. The 2010 La Tour de Bessan has very good delineation and intensity on the nose with blackberry, wild hedgerow and a touch of crushed stone (almost Pauillac like in nature.) The palate is medium-bodied with a graphite-infused entry and a strict, masculine finish that offers plenty of fruit. Great wine! Drink now-2018. Tasted September 2012.

One of the three properties owned by Marie-Laure Lurton, Tour de Bessan’s 2010 is a firm, smoky wine, dark and firm in character. It has weight, a solid and rich feel and a juicy black-currant note. The finish shows both aging potential and attractive fruitiness. - R.V.
