The 2009 Morey St. Denis shows plenty of the characteristic Duband expression of fruit but backed up with the structure of Morey. This is a sweet, relatively open style of Morey. The long, harmonious finish makes it hard to resist a second taste. Blackberries, blueberries, spices and licorice wrap around the engaging close. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2019.-AG

A hint of wood sets off earthy and primarily red berry fruit aromas that give way to rich, delicious and attractively textured middle weight flavors that display fine length on the finish where a bit of wood resurfaces.
