Winemaker's Notes:
A deep ruby-red colour. The nose has black fruit notes and woody, fiery aromas. After a round and full attack, this wine proves powerful and full-bodied. It is well-balanced and of high quality, with good cellaring potential.

Good bright, deep red. Black raspberry, pepper and spicy oak on the nose. At once powerful and a tad rustic, with a strong raspberry flavor dominating the palate. Hugely tannic and a bit tough today; this very backward wine will need at least several years in the bottle. All of the Nuits-Saint-George premier crus here get 40% to 50% new oak.-ST
