· Classic Burgundian Chardonnay under $11!
· Ridiculous Bargain
· 2007 vintage for White Burgundy rated 92 by the Wine Spectator though the VRAC has not been rated
In the vineyard regions of France the greatest bargains are the local wines that are never bottled but sold "en vrac", in bulk, where you bring your own container and fill up at the winery. In the spirit of these great local bargains, we bring you VRAC Macon Villages.
Blended from a variety of producers, this Macon is a crisp, clean and refreshing example of the best of the region. The big emphasis is on the beautiful flavors of Chardonnay fruit, not on oaky barrel flavors. Its lighter style makes it a great wine for these late summer and early fall days.
