Medium-deep red-ruby. A medicinal note dissipates to reveal ripe cherry and strawberry aromas. Clean and fresh, with a very calcaire mouth feel and a lingering aftertaste of red cherry and raspberry. Smooth tannins build on the back but avoid astringency. This wine needs time and should ultimately merit a 90+ rating. Make sure you decant it at least an hour before serving it if you can't lay it down.
