Sauvignon Blanc is The Crossings’ flagship varietal, made from a blend of selected parcels from our vineyards. The wine presents powerful aromas of passionfruit on the nose, combined with a complex palate where melon and stone fruit flavours are underpinned by a racy acidity and the classic flinty, mineral undertones of Awatere Sauvignon Blanc.
Colour: Vivid with an eyecatchingly subtle green hue.Bouquet: Dried cut grass with herb and stoneflint compliment passionfruit and pungent citrusy aromas.Palate: Opens with a wonderfully vibrant freshness, developing floral and peachy aromas. Ripe zesty citrus flavours build through the succulent juicy acidity and signature minerality of the long finish.
