Sauvignon Blanc is grown in our Marlborough vineyard on stony riverbed terraces, gently pressed and fermented in stainless steel tanks to give intense passionfruit and gooseberry fruit characters. The wine is fruit-driven in style, with complexity from lees ageing for several months in stainless steel tanks before bottling. This wine is a classic Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc with intense flavours and crisp acid in a dry style.
Colour: Pale Straw
Bouquet: An intense amalgam of limes, grapefruit, and underlying rich tropical fruit
Palate: An inviting and fine texture brings out the citrus and currant flavours of the wine. Pure fruit and vibrant acidity leave a sustained, dry finish.

The 2014 Sauvignon Blanc opens with an intense nose of green apples, grapefruit peel and bell pepper with touches of sage and fresh grass. Showing a great vibrancy of greener spectrum flavors and a lively acid backbone, it has a long, herbal finish.-LP-B

Focused and refreshing, with a whiff of celery leaf complementing the stone fruit, citrus and fleshy melon flavors. Ample acidity surges on the finish. Drink now. 60,000 cases made. –MW
