Winemaker's Notes:
Very deep and complex aromas of Bing cherries, graham cracker pie crust, mushrooms and blackberries just leap from the glass. In the mouth blueberries, red raspberries and baked strawberries are ripe and viscous. This is a wine of tremendous depth and nuance.

Medium red. Fresh raspberry and cherry aromas are complemented by underbrush and herbs, with a faint medicinal quality gaining strength with air. Juicy, incisive red fruit flavors show a refreshingly bitter edge but pick up sweetness in the mid-palate. The smoky finish offers good focus and firm-edged tannins. Give this a little air or another year or two of bottle age.
