Southern Right is sort of the second label for Hamilton Russell winery in South Africa. Not truly a second label, because Hamilton Russell makes Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, and the Southern Right label is used for Sauvignon Blanc and Pinotage, so it's really more of a sister winery to Hamilton Russell.
Southern Right Sauvignon Blanc comes from grapes grown in Walker Bay, just off the ocean, and benefitting from the maritime climate. Always done in a crisp, refreshing style, it consistently scores in the high eighties and low nineties with the wine press.
