In a season of brainless and brain-addled "celebrities" on Bravo's The Real Housewives of New York City, Bethenny Frankel stood out as the smart one. Funny, sharp and quick witted, Frankel was a believable (and likeable) player in the Manhattan social swirl. And there was a sweetness -- a low calorie sweetness, for sure -- to her story of launching her Skinnygirl brand.
Now Frankel writes another chapter in that story. The author of Naturally Thin, Frankel calls herself a "fixologist"-- a mixologist who fixes recipes that can be enjoyed without too much damage to the waistline. The latest addition to the Skinnygirl brand is Skinnygirl Margarita, a pre-mixed margarita that has only 100 calories per four-ounce serving. Made with tequila, a hint of agave nectar, lime juice and triple sec.
